Bribie lsland 渡假，退休養老勝地

    Australia 到處都是渡假的好地方，處處有驚喜………

   Bribie Island our "Touch of Paradise" on the coast of Queensland is the only bridged Island and is conveniently located 45 minutes north of Brisbane and 45 minutes from the Sunshine Coast.

     Australia 任何地方都有 information 站，旅遊第一步，就是找當地所有的資訊，現在我們就出發，享受 Bribie Island 休閒遊。

   五十年前，要坐渡輪才能到 Bribie Island.

Australia 政府建了 Bribie Island bridge  。大家來島上玩方便多了。

五十年前收五十分錢過一次橋，現在是免費，當地居民要求，再建一座橋。太多訪客了。

 



 

Bribie Island 北部是原始紅樹林區.( Fort Bribie : Northem Part of island Need 4WD and permit )

 

我們先到西邊海灘,西邊面向Sandstone Point .Brisbsne North. 是內路海.

海水很平靜,遠望100公里外的 Sunshine Goast Glass House Mountains.

Bribie Island Bridge 把西邊海灘分成上.下海灘,我們現在在下海灘.

 

Bongaree Jetty. 這個碼頭有100 年了,是私人遊艇碼頭. 大家在Jetty 上釣魚, 有位澳洲大媽正在釣魚,我問:有大魚上釣嗎?{No}. 我問對岸新建的Club ,可以免費進入嗎?澳洲大媽回我:Australia only sunshine and air free ,nothing free for you.

很多烤肉台.涼亭.洗手台,飲水台....都是免費.海灘上.大家野餐享受悠閒.

Seaside Museum 裏面的工作人員都是義工,very friendly .

 

我開車穿過 Buckleys Hole Conservation Park ,有隻Sacred ibis , 車都讓它.我們到島的最南端, 全部是原始Mangroves, 別有風格.

 

 

Woorim Beach 是Bribie Island 東邊海灘, Edwin Schrag Lookout 小 白燈塔照顧著 Coral Sea.

哇! 這是什麼?....原來Bribie Island 是小鳥保護,北方鳥來避冬,這是賞鳥亭.

    Bribie Island 是拍婚紗好地方,渡密月的好地方.........

    Bribie Island 島上居民 90%以上年齡在65 歲,大家退休養老好地方.陽光.空氣.安靜...........
                         年輕人在島上住了一個月就離開,太無聊了.

   Bribie Island 島上有兩個高爾夫球場,很多的Club , 一半的house 都有後花園碼頭.

         Vietnm Veterans Park 有古老的砲台,滑翔翼.....還紀念戰亡士兵碑.

媽媽手記 (一) I gave birth to my children

    語文班老師，要學生自我介紹 ( talking about self ) ,我寫了…

      When I was child, my mother taught me, "Your name is Hsiao- Yin , your lived in the
9 Duck Street, Birkdale ."

      When I met my lover, we talked about songs. dances.and hobbies. We had good time
together.

      When I gave birth oldest daughter. " Oh my goodness."
      When I gave birth young daughter. " Oh my God . I could like son. "
      Three years later, I gave birth oldest son. All family was happiness.
      When I was forty-two years old, I got my litter baby. "Oh thank God. "

       When I was fifty years old. I want to Australia for my new life.

    一眨眼就十年，時間, 空間,....的距離，讓我警覺孩子們和我，有了點距離……所以每天一大早，
藉著internet 向我的孩子們道早安，聊聊天，希望親子間，無距離。

born 和 give birth 有何分別。
 born 是 我出生 ( 媽媽生我 ).
give birth 是我生我的小孩。(我是媽媽)

   我的 internet 老師解釋 ： "主詞不同，通常 born 是用在被生的人，Ex : Jeff was born  in 1998; give birth 指的生的人，也就是誰給的 Ex : Mom gave birth to Jeff in 1998.
